Introduction
If I could make the world a better place, I would begin by feeding the people. We would bring food where there is hunger, water where there is thirst, and shelter where there is none. We would see the need and meet it. A mother does not debate whether to feed her child. She feeds him because he is hungry. The world is hungry.
I would care for the children. We would allow them to grow into what they are meant to be, without interference. We would teach with kindness and love, by example. The children would understand how to be human because they would see it in us.
I would begin the long work of healing what has been long held. We understand that healing comes through understanding and feeling the pain and then releasing. We would listen to the stories the body has carried. We would clear the ancestral records of any held trauma. Healing would become a natural consequence of connection.
I would care for the earth the way I care for what is sacred. We would embrace Gaia as Mother. We would return to simple practices that keep us in relationship with the natural world. We would understand and focus on what is sustainable. We would tend gardens, repair soil, protect forests, and respect the animals. This is living as one with Mother Nature.
I would house the homeless. Because every human deserves and needs shelter. We would respond as women have always responded, by opening the door, making a bed, sharing the food, and making room. There is always room when you are not holding back.
I would embrace joy. We would dance, sing, and make art, as nourishment for the soul. We would bring music into homes and loving kindness into public spaces. We are here to experience and express life.
I would lead by example. The way we speak, the way we interact with others, the way we handle conflict, that becomes the teaching. Our leadership emerges from how we live, not what we say. The feminine orients. She creates an atmosphere in which truth becomes safe again.
I would embrace the masculine. I would invite him to discover his inner divinity. We would return to balance by becoming whole ourselves and letting him feel what that wholeness makes possible, unconditional love.
A better world, is already here in potential. Gaia just needs to blossom. Women know how to bring things into form. It is biology. We have done it since the beginning. We hold consciousness, and the new life comes forward. Through consistent love and devotion, how beautiful the world can be, when we allow it to unfold naturally.
